ADULT FITNESS CLASSES

The Recreation Authority offers Drop-In Zumba Fitness classes so you can dance your way into a healthier you. It could become an essential part of your workout routine! TNT is a body sculpting class that will increase your everyday strength with focus on functional movements. This class will boost your metabolism by building lean muscle mass without any extra bulk. We will focus on strength training and repetition, as well as the core. Class is packed with exercises to tone and strengthen the upper and lower body, along with the abdominals. TNT is a great class for those who don’t want pounding on their joints. Class is designed to reach a scope of all fitness levels; so whether you are a fitness novice or more experienced this class is for you.
Designed for the over-50 crowd, our Zumba Gold classes provide senior residents with the ability to seamlessly develop new rhythms that will enhance their workout regimens. Most participants have so much fun they forget they’re even exercising! Drop-In Zumba Gold is offered for a nominal fee Thursday mornings and evenings. Kickboxing classes can be a great alternative for people who have become bored with weight-room cardiovascular activities, such as brisk walking or jogging on a treadmill. Cardio kickboxing is meant to be a fun and effective program for achieving your fitness goals.
