RECREATION AUTHORITY CLOSURE
The Recreation Authority is excited to announce that we will be opening our doors for business transactions starting Monday, June 29th. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we await on approval from the state on re-opening for indoor programming. During this time, we are offering outdoor programming and pavilion rentals. We do not have a date set at this time for indoor programming, fitness center or indoor rentals. As restrictions are lifted, we will work on appropriate plans that are safe for the community. Starting Monday, June 29th, you will be able to:
- Register for a program or league
- Reserve a pavilion at a park (dates available after Sunday, July 12th)
- Register or renew your MiDOG park application
- Pay balances for Summer Day Camp
Because the safety of our staff and community is our number one priority, please review the following guidelines upon arriving to the Recreation Authority Center:
- Masks MUST be worn by guests at all times inside the Recreation Authority Center.
- You may not enter the Recreation Authority Center without a mask.
- Please enter through the main entrance (South entrance, facing Costco. Look for the sign board). All other entrances will be locked.
- Social distancing is required in the facility.
HOURS OF OPERATION:
Monday – Friday 9:00am – 4:00pm (building will be closed on Friday, July 3rd)
All forms of payment may be used.
If you are currently registered for a program that has already started, the program has been canceled until further notice. Rescheduling of programs will be determined at a later date. Credit for programs may be issued if rescheduling is not a possibly. All drop-in related programs are also canceled until further notice.
SMART Bus Transportation
SMART Bus Transportation is operating for Doctor appointments and grocery shopping ONLY. Group shopping trips are not available at this time. Transportation is limited.
Youth & Adult Sport Leagues
Youth Baseball/Softball, Adult Softball and Adult Kickball leagues are running this summer. Fees have changed for some programs from the original rates.
You may register for programs at rare-mi.org. If you are unable to access the internet or would like to pay in the form of cash or check, you may register at the Recreation Authority Center (18185 Sycamore, Roseville) or utilize the drop box at Roseville City Hall (29753 Gratiot Ave, Roseville). The drop box is located on the east side of City Hall. Online registration will NOT be available for Senior Programs.
We are not accepting any new rentals until further notice.
Vendor Show & Tastefest
The Vendor Show & Tastefest, scheduled for Friday, May 8th will be postponed for a fall date TBD.
Meals on Wheels
Meals on Wheels Programs has suspended operation at the Recreation Authority until further notice. Dinning Senior Style at the Recreation Authority Center will be canceled until further notice. Meals on Wheels has two pick up locations for those over 60 and in need of meals, for more information click here.
