Eastpointe water public education information

In response to the city of Eastpointe's lead concerns, MDHHS recommends that all residents in the city use a certified drinking water filter to reduce lead. We are connecting with community groups, businesses, and nonprofits to provide Eastpointe residents with information on choosing the right filter, cleaning faucet aerators, and adopting other behaviors to reduce lead levels in their home drinking water. We also assist qualifying families in receiving a filter at no cost. Additional information to protect yourself can be found below.
