Summer Day Camp

PRICING UPDATE AS OF JANUARY 26, 2026! PLEASE READ BELOW

Ages 6 - 12 years (must have completed kindergarten)
Our State of Michigan licensed program runs for 8 weeks. RARE Summer Day Camp includes supervised programs, field trips, swimming, arts & crafts, and so much more! The program is held at the Recreation Authority Center. 
Camp fees include: breakfast and lunch every day, entertainment, treats, field trips, swimming once a week, camp shirt and wristband.
Mandatory parent/guardian orientation on Thursday, June 11 at 7:00pm.

Registration opens Tuesday, March 10 at 8:30 a.m. and will be conducted IN-PERSON ONLY at the Recreation Authority Center. Registration must be completed by a parent, guardian, or grandparent of the camper. Child's birth certificate, for age verification, must be presented for first time participants. Child Information and Health History forms will be due at the time of registration. Forms can be found below or will be available in-person at the Recreation Authority Center.

June 15 - August 14 (no camp 6/19, and week of 6/29 - 7/3)

Resident: $1,180   $950
Non-Resident: $1,280   $1,050
*Payment plans are available, deposit required is $350*

The Recreation Authority of Roseville & Eastpointe (RARE) has been awarded a Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential (MiLEAP) Out-of-School Time (OST) Learning Grant for the 2025–2026 program year. This grant funding will allow us to enhance our summer camp program by:
                          - Adding additional staff support, purchasing new supplies, expanding program offerings and helping offset overall program costs.


Please note that this grant funding is not guaranteed on a yearly basis. As a result, any cost reductions made possible through this funding may only be available for the Summer 2026 season, depending on future funding availability.
