This co-ed program offers fun drills and activities to develop fundamental skills. Open to all skill levels, it's a great opportunity for players to improve their shooting, dribbling, passing, and defense in a supportive environment.

Winter Basketball Leagues
Grades 2 - 12
(2025/2026 school year)
Join the fun this winter to participate in our winter basketball leagues at the Recreation Authority Center. This is a recreational league where players will learn the fundamentals, develop skills, and make life long friends all while having fun! Registration will include weekly practices, a jersey and an 8-game schedule. All players must provide black athletic shorts and non-marking tennis shoes. NO coach or player requests will be allowed for Middle School or High School Basketball!!!
VOLUNTEER COACHES are needed to successfully run all of these leagues. Please indicate at the time of registration if you or someone you know may be interested in coaching, or contact the Sports & Fitness Supervisor at ajust@rare-mi.org.
You will receive a call from a coach in early/mid-January. At this time the coach will give you all the practice information you will need.
Games will begin the week of January 26th.
Grades: Game Days:
2nd - 3rd co-ed Saturday
4th - 5th co-ed Sunday
6th - 8th boys Saturday
6th - 8th girls Saturday
High School boys Friday
High School girls Friday
Player fee: $100
