SUMMER LEAGUE ***NEW PROGRAM***
Is your child itching to play basketball, and doesn't want to wait until winter? The Recreation Authority is now offering a 5-week summer basketball league for children in grades K-8! This league is designed players looking to dust off their game before the winter leagues hit, or players who just want something fun to do this summer. No experience is necessary as the league is designed to focus on fundamentals and having fun!
League information:
Grade for 2024/2025 School year
Registration dealine is Sunday, June 9th
League will start the week of July 8th, concludes the week of August 5th
Game Times: 6:00pm, 7:00pm, 8:00pm
Game Days:
Co-Ed Kindergarten - 2nd Grade: Mondays
Co-Ed 3rd - 5th Grade: Tuesdays
Boys' 6th - 8th Grade: Thursdays
Resident: $60
Non-Resident: $65
WINTER LEAGUE
This is a recreational league where players will learn the fundamentals, develop skills, make new friends all while having fun! Registration will include weekly practices (determined by the coach), eight weeks of games, uniform and end of season celebration at the Recreation Authority for all teams!
Volunteer coaches are needed to successfully run these leagues. Please indicate at the time of registration if you are interested in coaching or contact Adam at ajust@rare-mi.org
All players must provide black athletic shorts and non-marking shoes for their uniform. No coach or player requests will be accepted for 6th-8th and high school leagues.
League Information:
-You will be contacted by a coach after January 7th
(date, time and location is determined by the coach)
-Practices begin the week of January 8th
-Games start the weekend of January 26th
-No games will be held February 16 - 18

4th-5th Grade: boys Sundays
4th-5th Grade: girls Sundays
6th-8th Grade: boys Saturdays
6th-8th Grade: girls Saturdays
High School (3v3): boys Friday evenings
High School (3v3): girls Saturdays
$95 per player
Registration deadline: Thursday, December 21
Register by Sunday, November 5th to receive a $15 per player discount
